Inspired by early R&B legends of the '70s and '80s, Madiona  grew up practicing her vocals and developing her style to the records of Diana Ross, Melba Moore, Whitney Houston, and Jody Watley.  She cultivated her silky-smooth vocals in the privacy of her childhood bedroom and led songs in her church choir in her hometown of Winston Salem.

Celebrating all Dads (Always)

Madiona has a 3.38 Octave Range as a Soprano. That's 44 piano keys!

She is a Praise and Worship leader in her church and loves singing in her church choir and performing at ministry outreach services as much as she enjoys singing in clubs and at your events.

Styles include Neo Soul, R & B, Pop, and Gospel.

Open your mind and imagine a place
where living and loving are all that it takes;
where dreams do come true and happiness lasts;
where laughter is bliss and a first kiss surpassed
by only the phenomenal feeling you get
when you know you've lived every minute.

Madiona is also an author of Christian Fiction books and publishes under the pseudonym, Ruth C. Durant. Look for her first collection of short stories on
